In this turorial you will learn how to use the blur tool in photoshop cs6.Blur gallery is one of  most splendid features in photoshop that let you retain focus on a certain part of your image,and blur out the rest.The blur gallery is composed of three filters:

• field blur
• iras blur 
• tilt-shift

Apart of this there are a separte set of blur effect produce by lenses.

Field blur:

Field blur is the simples of all filters but offers the least amount of direct control.

First open whatever image you would like to work on it then duplicate the background layer of your image.

then go to filter >>blur>>field blur

The blur panel tools automatically open to the field blur option.when we took at my image in the preview area.we notice two things first the entire image has a initial blurring effect applied.Secondly we notice an icon (pin).

If we look along the right side we will find couple of panels blur tool panel where we find the control and option for the field blur and below it is the blur effects panel which gives us a few extra options for adding bokeh effects to the blur  .

we can copy multiple area of icon to different area of the image to make selection of the area which you want to blur we can remove the blurring in the specific area of the image(eye) either by dragging the blur slider in the blur tool panel to the left until the blur amount is at 0.

we can place as many pin as we like but we have to place the pin of blue 0px of area which we want to focus:

then click on preview and then click ok.

The only problem with these pins is that they tend to clutter up the image,making it difficult to see the effect    underneath.Thats is too easily to apply different amount of blurring to specific area which you want using this field blur filter,i will teach you iris blur filter and tilt-shift in my next article.I hope that tutorial will be helpful to most of you.your suggestion and feedback will be very highly helpful and appreciated.Thankyou!
